Final report with Tooltech Global Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

This week, the joint team of HÖRMANN Vehicle Engineering GmbH and Tooltech Global Engineering Pvt. Ltd, Pune, successfully handed over the final report on the assessment of the O&M processes and the organizational structure to Managing Director Shri Shravan Hardikar of Maharashtra Metro Rail Corp Ltd. The report focused on the two locations in Pune and Nagpur, and contains a large number of recommendations for optimizing the operational processes, maintenance organizations, strategies and safety measures of the still young rail transport companies in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

As part of the assessment, a thorough analysis of the specific characteristics of the rail systems, processes and organizational structures was carried out during various on-site visits. The findings were then compared with practical experience and examples from other metro operations worldwide to develop a comprehensive set of recommendations for achieving the self-imposed goals.
